(V0.10) A buncha stuff added/changed


OK so i added quite a lot of stuff here:


new stuff:

characters now have new sprites for when they're going diagonal

jimmy now faces the cursor when holding the fire button

shield, burn and zap overlays have new sprites (zap was only on jimmy when using tesla field before)

some new crosshairs

jimmy's face is different, the old face is now on a new enemy

a new enemy - joey, he's fast and has quite a bit of health and will chase you if you get to close

new weapon - wave cannon, shoots a burst of 3 waves of 3 projectiles for only 1 ammo

new powerup - homer seeker, makes projectiles home in on an enemy if it gets close to one

new ability - point warp, you teleport to where you are pointing unless there is not a direct line of sight, bought from timothy

timothy now also sells some ammo, shields, and the bettery which requires the pointer as it just increases the laser's range

also you better not annoy timothy :)

new bosses:

johny - johny shoots at you and spawns some Jacobs around him if you get too close

jumboni - not finished, he's just really big and has a lot of health, nearby enemies get pushed away

you now get points from picking up guns/powerups:

when picking up a gun you get 5 points if you already have the same gun 10 if you don't

when picking up powerups you get 10 points if you already have a powerup active and 5 points if you don't have one active


balance changes/fixes:

fire up now doubles the weapon's current burs amount instead of increase damage

sharp shot now increases damage

slow foes now also decreases fire rate of enemies that shoot, also gives them a electric effect on them to show they're slowed

flamethrower now shoots a burst of 4 and has an increased fire rate but doesn't do damage directly

burn works differently, it still increases the timer every time hit with a fireball but it now increases the damage per tick as well

keys no longer spawn randomly instead they spawn when a boss is defeated, they will not despawn

decreased speed of proto beamer a bit so it actually collides with enemies, before it was too fast so it kept not hitting when it should

powerups that only effect weapons now deplete the timer slower when you have no ammo or gun

unpausing now says "get ready" on screen for a second before unpausing

i fiddled with the general balancing of enemies and changed how their movement works a bit

a bunch of other small things fixed that weren't correct before
